Recommendation for Infection
Utilize iodine tincture and a 70% ethanol swab to sterilize the inoculation site on 9-10 day-old specific pathogen-free (SPF) chicken embryonated eggs. Gently puncture the eggshell using a sterilized push pin, then carefully inject 100μl of PBS-diluted virus into the allantoic cavity using a syringe equipped with a 1/2 inch, 26-gauge needle. Seal the injection site with nail polish and place the inoculated eggs in a humidified egg incubator set at 35℃ for 2 days.
